Steve Ligus – Vice President
Steve brings a wealth of situational and conceptual knowledge to every client engagement. He uses his knowledge and education to understand each client’s unique needs in order to deliver solutions meeting the culture, goals and economics of that client. This strategic approach assesses not only the current program structure and factors, but sets a path toward meeting the organizational goals and objectives through design, data analytics and program optimization.
A frequent speaker on various employee benefit topics, Steve has built his career on sound principles. His strengths include program review and planning, regulatory compliance, underwriting and actuarial analysis, modeling, alternative funding strategies, network analysis, communication and member engagement.
Steve’s experience includes work with organizations such as Shaw Industries; Carter Lumber; Nesco Inc and the Cleveland Metropolitan School District.
Steve is the chairperson and founding board member of the Cleveland Society for Human Resource Management Foundation. He also serves as the past president of the Cleveland Society for Human Resource Management.
Education and Accreditations
Steve earned his bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from John Carroll University in University Heights, Ohio. He then went on to earn his master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in healthcare economics from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
